On April 15, 2026, we provided a review and outlook on the M&A market in Germany during our Deloitte Legal webcast. The focus was not only on market developments following the first quarter of 2026 but also on several topics currently of particular relevance to transaction practice. Deloitte Legal advises ORAFOL on Expanding Its U.S. Presence Through the Acquisition of Maxpro Manufacturing, LLC

A Düsseldorf-based Deloitte Legal team led by Dr. Michael von Rüden (Partner) advised ORAFOL Europe GmbH on the acquisition of the U.S.-based Maxpro Manufacturing, LLC from its previous shareholders. The transaction is still subject to the fulfillment of customary closing conditions.

Deloitte Legal advises THIMM on Sale to SAICA

A multi-office Deloitte Legal team led by Hanover-based Deloitte Legal partners Dr. Harald Stang and Dr. Maximilian Habel advised THIMM Holding GmbH + Co. KG, the holding company of the Thimm family, on the sale of its shares in THIMM Group GmbH + Co. KG to the Spanish SAICA Group. Deloitte Legal provided legal support throughout the entire sale process, prepared and implemented restructuring measures both domestically and abroad, and advised on the drafting and negotiation of the transaction documentation. The closing of the transaction is subject to antitrust approval by the European Commission.

Deloitte Legal and Deloitte advised STRABAG on the acquisition of a 27-MWp solar portfolio from Greentech

A multidisciplinary team from Deloitte and Deloitte Legal, led by Dr. Julia Petersen (Partner, Corporate/M&A, Berlin) and Dr. Torsten Wielsch (Partner, Head of Energy Law, Berlin), provided comprehensive advice to STRABAG on its acquisition of a photovoltaic portfolio from greentech, a specialist in PV and BESS. The advisory services included the legal structuring and support of the entire transaction process, the conduct of due diligence, the drafting and negotiation of the contractual documentation, as well as the financial and tax valuation of the portfolio.

Deloitte Legal advises Hannover Finanz on the partial sale of ZEEH Group to Liberta Partners

A team from the Hanover office of Deloitte Legal, led by partners Dr. Harald Stang and John-Patrick Scherer, advised Hannover Finanz on the successful partial sale of its participation in ZEEH Group.
