A multidisciplinary team from Deloitte and Deloitte Legal, led by Dr. Julia Petersen (Partner, Corporate/M&A, Berlin) and Dr. Torsten Wielsch (Partner, Head of Energy Law, Berlin), provided comprehensive advice to STRABAG on its acquisition of a photovoltaic portfolio from greentech, a specialist in PV and BESS. The advisory services included the legal structuring and support of the entire transaction process, the conduct of due diligence, the drafting and negotiation of the contractual documentation, as well as the financial and tax valuation of the portfolio.
The acquired portfolio comprises three solar parks in Bavaria with a total capacity of 27 MWp. STRABAG is thus supporting the expansion of renewable energy infrastructure. The transaction was successfully closed in early March 2026 following the fulfillment of regulatory closing conditions.
Dr. Julia Petersen and Dr. Torsten Wielsch, the lead partners on the transaction at Deloitte Legal, commented: “We are pleased to have advised STRABAG on this exciting transaction. The advisory work required close coordination of legal, financial, and transaction-related expertise. We would like to thank everyone involved for their constructive and efficient cooperation throughout the entire process.”
