Best Law Firms in Germany 2025

On 25 September, the law firm ranking of the US publisher 'Best Lawyers' was published for the second time in Germany in cooperation with the Handelsblatt. Deloitte Legal was listed in a total of 25 national and regional rankings:

• Germany-wide: One Tier 1 ranking, three Tier 2 rankings and three Tier 3 rankings
• Regionally: Seven Tier 1 rankings, six Tier 2 rankings and five Tier 3 rankings

The rankings are based on feedback from more than 10,000 clients worldwide, more than 6,000 lawyer evaluations, numerous interviews with practice group and firm leaders, and extensive data collected through the Law Firm Survey.

National Rankings

In the national ranking for Germany, the following areas of law were ranked in Tier 1:

• Corporate Law

The Tier 2 rankings are as follows:

• Banking and Finance Law, 
• Information Technology Law and 
• Mergers and Acquisitions Law.

The following areas made it into Tier 3:

• Intellectual Property Law,
• Labour and Employment Law and
• Restructuring and Insolvency Law.
