Deloitte Legal advises Scutum Group on acquisition of Alinotec GmbH & Co. KG

A Deloitte Legal team led by Cologne-based corporate/M&A partner Dr. Christof Bremer advised the French Scutum Group on the acquisition of all shares in Alinotec GmbH & Co. KG.

The Scutum Group, which operates in Europe and the US, is a leading provider of products and ser-vices in the areas of electrical safety, security & defense, and fire protection. Electronic monitoring centers ensure round-the-clock access control, burglar alarms, and video surveillance. Security so-lutions and fire protection concepts are advised and implemented on site, and the necessary maintenance and repair work is carried out.

Alinotec has been on the market for 16 years and is known for its high-quality security solutions for industry, construction, raw materials, trade, and the public sector. With its technologically leading platforms and constant growth, the company has established itself as a reliable partner throughout Germany.

The acquisition of Alinotec enables Scutum to offer its customers in Germany even more: modular, temporary security solutions that are optimally tailored to the requirements of construction pro-jects, as well as the expertise of a strong software development team that complements our R&D department with its know-how in intelligent retail systems and tracking software.

Deloitte Legal provided Scutum with comprehensive advice on the acquisition, from pre-contractual negotiations to legal due diligence and the negotiation of transaction documentation, through to the successful conclusion. Cologne-based Deloitte Legal partner Dr. Christof Bremer had already advised the Scutum Group before joining Deloitte Legal – the group continues to rely on his consulting services even after his move to his new place of work.
