Deloitte Legal advises buyer consortium on the acquisition of the business operations of Golf Club Grevenmühle GmbH

A Düsseldorf-based Deloitte Legal team led by Dr. Michael von Rüden (Partner) and Dirk Hänisch (Partner, both Corporate/M&A, both Düsseldorf) has advised a consortium of buyers on the acquisition of the business operations of Golf Club Grevenmühle GmbH.

Golf Club Grevenmühle GmbH operated a golf course with adjoining catering facilities before insolvency proceedings were opened over the company's assets at the end of 2024. Prof. Dr. Dirk Andres was appointed as the insolvency administrator.

The consortium of buyers includes landlords and members of the golf club who have founded Golfanlage Grevenmühle Betriebsgesellschaft mbH for the purpose of the transaction. The buyers intend to use the transaction to preserve the golf club and continue golf operations together with the club's catering.
