Deloitte Legal advises HELUKABEL Group on the acquisition of DKSH's "Cables & Electrical" business in Australia

With a team led by Stuttgart-based Corporate/M&A partner Michael Schneider, Deloitte Legal has advised HELUKABEL Group on the acquisition of the "Cables & Electrical" business unit of DKSH Australia Pty. Ltd. As regards local aspects, the German Deloitte Legal team was supported by Australian Deloitte Legal, Tax and Financial Advisory colleagues.

HELUKABEL Group, headquartered in Hemmingen near Stuttgart, is an internationally active family business and is one of the leading manufacturers and suppliers of cables, wires, cable accessories and other electrical connection technology. With its own production sites and logistics centers with over 2,500 employees, HELUKABEL Group offers a comprehensive product portfolio for industry, infrastructure, mobility and event & media technology worldwide. As a result of the acquisition, HELUKABEL Group is now present at 76 locations in 43 countries on all continents (except Antarctica).

The DKSH Group, headquartered in Zurich, is a leading global market expansion service provider and retail group active in 36 markets. DKSH employs over 28,000 employees and has a network of 850 business locations in Asia and 20 in Europe and the United States of America. DKSH is active in the areas of Luxury & Lifestyle, Performance Materials and Services.

With the support of other member firms of the worldwide Deloitte (Legal) network, the Stuttgart-based Deloitte Legal team has already advised the HELUKABEL Group on various acquisitions in Germany and abroad. For example, the team, supported by French Deloitte (Legal) colleagues, has recently advised HELUKABEL Group on the acquisition of a majority stake in IC Automation SAS.
