6. and 7. July 2026 | Deloitte Legal Düsseldorf, Erna-Scheffler-Straße 2, 40476 Düsseldorf
We are pleased to host the Liquid Legal Institute e.V.’s Liquid Legal Summit 2026 at Deloitte Legal in Düsseldorf and look forward to lively discussions with leading experts in the fields of legal tech and legal transformation.
In times of accelerating change, foresight is a responsible act. The legal system, once a symbol of stability, is now in the midst of profound flux. Technological advancements, geopolitical shifts, ecological crises, and societal divisions demand a fresh perspective on law, democracy, and governance.
The Liquid Legal Summit 2026, the third annual gathering of the Liquid Legal Community, invites professionals from various fields to explore the possibilities beyond „just transformation.“ Together, we will imagine, design, and empower the architecture of legal evolution - an ecosystem capable of change, resilience, and integrity.
The main topics are:
Legal Foresight · Transformation Architecture · Digital Sovereignty
1. Legal Foresight
The future cannot be predicted, only imagined. How can legal professionals identify early signals, map emerging trends, and transform uncertainty into a strategic asset? This track explores new foresight practices, scenario thinking, and collaborative intelligence in the legal field.
2. Transformation Architecture
Transformation is not an event; it is a permanent state. Legal organizations must make adaptability part of their DNA. In this session, thought leaders and practitioners will discuss designing resilient structures, developing transformation competencies, and cultivating a culture that thrives amid continuous change.
3.. Digital Sovereignty
As artificial intelligence (AI), data ecosystems, and algorithmic infrastructures become foundational to law, the concept of sovereignty takes on new meaning. Who decides how digital systems that influence our laws and legal decisions are developed and utilized? How can we ensure that these systems remain independent, trustworthy, and guided by ethical principles? This track brings together diverse perspectives on technological self-determination and regulatory innovation.
