Heike Richter is partner at Deloitte Legal in Dusseldorf. She specializes in Corporate Law, (global) corporate reorganizations and restructurings (with special expertise in cross-border mergers and migration), M&A, international project management and corporate secretarial services/LEM. She has more than 15 years´ experience in advising clients in all aspects of German Corporate Law, M&A, group restructurings and reorganizations (including cross-border), start-ups and establishment of any type of legal entity/subsidiaries, branches and group structure. Heike focuses on advising national and international/overseas companies/multinational groups of companies in M&A transactions and in particular corporate reorganizations projects and has been working on numerous corporate simplification programs, entity reduction programs, entity to branch conversion projects, post-merger integration programs as well as in particular many cross-border merger projects. Heike speaks German and English.

Christofer Mellert joined Deloitte Legal as partner in 2013. He is advising clients on all areas of corporate law and is expert in public and private mergers & acquisitions, private equity transactions, joint ventures and group-reorganizations as well as corporate finance. Christofer Mellert studied law at Heidelberg University and College for Administrative Sciences in Speyer. Prior to his present activity he worked as partner of a leading German commercial law firm. His career has included positions in Johannesburg, Edinburgh, and London. Christofer is lecturer at the post-graduate school program “Mergers & Acquisitions” at Münster University and regularly gives seminars and publishes articles on corporate law and M&A-related topics. Christofer speaks German, English and Dutch.

Frauke Heudtlaß' main areas of practice include employment law advice on M&A transactions and restructurings, the drafting and negotiation of works agreements and other issues relating to the relationship between employee representatives and employers.
