In recent years we have witnessed dynamic developments in the crypto sector. What began as a niche topic soon attracted broader attention, was briefly linked to libertarian sphere, and has now become a central issue in international regulatory debates. The ILF seminar would like to contribute to this discussion and taking MiCAR as a starting point, share perspectives. With its international focus, the ILF is the perfect place for this exchange.
Agenda
Joachim Schwerin (Principal Economist, EU-Commission) will provide the "Keynote Opening Speech on MiCAR", while Anja von Rosenstiel (Of Counsel, FIN LAW/Lecturer, Boston University School of Law) will give an "Introduction to the Digital Assets Regulatory Regime in the USA" and Carlo Pöschke (ILF) will talk about "Private Law Aspects Under MiCAR".
A panel discussion, "Digital Asset Regulation - Current Status and Outlook" moderated by Alireza Siadat (Deloitte Legal), will then follow.
