Till is a Partner at Deloitte Legal and Service Line Lead Digital Law, focusing on IT/IP law. Since becoming a lawyer in early 2012, Till has focused on all information technology-related legal matters. He has advised numerous clients in the modernization and outsourcing of IT services and the digitization of business processes. Additionally, he routinely advises clients in the development, implementation and distribution of complex IT solutions such as the ERP and CRM systems as well as migration into cloud environments and procurement in the area of ‚Everything-as-a-Service‘ (XaaS). Due to his in-depth understanding of technologies, Till is highly skilled in translating complex technical topics into legal language. Not only has he advised clients in the legal challenges of a project, he has also assisted his clients in navigating the numerous organizational, economical and procedural challenges which they face in the lifecycle of a project.
Jan has joined Deloitte Legal in April 2024. He is Counsel and a member of the service line Digital Law. Jan’s professional focus is on data and data protection law and legal issues relating to digitization. Since 2012, he has been advising national and international companies as well as the public sector, particularly in the areas of data and data protection law and IT law. His expertise includes the implementation of new IT tools and data protection management systems in existing operational structures and conducting data protection audits for a wide range of clients. Jan has developed an outstanding ability to identify and solve complex challenges in data protection and IT law. He works with clients to develop customized and practical solutions and advises decision-makers on legal and strategic challenges. He also has extensive experience in managing multidisciplinary projects and successfully leading teams of lawyers and experts from other disciplines. Jan regularly shares his expertise through webinars, workshops and textual publications, making him a valued expert in his field and ensuring that his insights are always up to date with the latest legislation and best practice. Jan speaks German and English.
