Söntje is a partner at Deloitte Legal in Berlin and co-lead of the Digital Law service area.
Since starting her legal career, she has specialized in IT and data law. She has since advised national and international companies as well as the public sector on legal issues related to IT and data protection projects, AI compliance, EU digital regulation, data spaces, and IT security (particularly in the areas of BSI Grundschutz, classified information protection/secrecy, and industry-specific requirements with a focus on the healthcare sector). In addition, Söntje advises on legal strategy and operations and supports in-house legal and compliance departments with their strategic and operational alignment.
Söntje has many years of experience in the interdisciplinary management and execution of complex IT and digitalization projects and in close collaboration with in-house legal, compliance, and IT departments.
