Julia Werres has been working as an associate on Sebastian Schnitzler’s team at Deloitte Legal since April 2026 and provides comprehensive advice to both public contracting authorities and private companies on all aspects of European and national public procurement law.
Julia’s expertise encompasses the design and implementation of national and Europe-wide procurement procedures. She also advises bidders on participating in procurement procedures, particularly regarding potential objection and exclusion scenarios. Julia represents both contracting authorities and bidders in review and appeal proceedings before the Public Procurement Tribunals and Higher Regional Courts.
Another focus of her work is the preparation and negotiation of contracts in accordance with the relevant public procurement and civil law requirements.
Julia studied law in Hamburg and Munich and, prior to joining Deloitte Legal, worked in the public procurement law practice of a leading international law firm.
