Dennis Buschmann has joined Deloitte Legal as a senior associate in May 2025 and advises companies engaged in international trade on all aspects of foreign trade law.

Dennis Buschmann has extensive experience in sanctions (financial sanctions and embargoes) and export control law. In this context, he advises clients in strategic communication with the relevant authorities, defends clients in litigation and supports in the process of setting up or reviewing existing compliance systems, as well as in drafting and reviewing commercial contracts in this area.

Before joining Deloitte Legal, Dennis Buschmann worked for several years at another leading international law firm and at the German Federal Ministry of Finance in the field of sanctions.
